Access in Sydney
On the Sydney side, plan the pickup as carefully as the delivery. Terraces, units and towers all have their own limits. Plan for:

- Parking for the truck, which some councils ask you to arrange with a permit
- Stairs, steep driveways and narrow terrace streets, so we bring the right crew
- Key handover and building access times at the old and new place
Access in Brisbane
Many Brisbane homes are Queenslanders and other raised houses, set on stumps with the living areas up a flight of stairs. Hilly streets and newer apartment towers need their own planning. Plan for:
- Front and back stairs on raised houses, so we bring enough hands for heavy pieces
- Sloping blocks and steep driveways, where the truck may need to park on the street
- Apartment lift and loading dock bookings with building management
- Council parking permits where the street needs one

Questions
Do you take the coast road or the inland road?
Most moves go up the coast on the Pacific Motorway and the Pacific Highway. The New England Highway inland is the other option. We choose the route that suits your load and dates, and tell you with your quote.
My new place is a Queenslander up a flight of stairs. Is that a problem?
No. Tell us about the stairs, front and back, when you ask for a price, and mention anything heavy like a piano or a large fridge. We plan the crew around it.
How long does a Sydney to Brisbane move take?
